I tried to seat myself at a sushi place in Atlanta today and was given the most evil look from the waitress. She also got me a Sapporo beer instead of water. I kinda like Sapporo so I didn’t correct here, but I hated that after all this I was culturally expected to tip her. What in the hell. Indeed. By the way, I actually liked the pinot noir ("Spätburgunder" as we call it here).
