So just for information:
The sign on the door aren’t of an occult nature, but a blessing written (usually with blessed chalk) on house doors on the 6th of January. The numbers (20 …. 06) are the year the blessing was done at, and the characters mean either
Caspar, Melchior, Balthasar (the names of the three Biblical Magi)
or
Christus mansionem beneficat (May Christ bless this home)
The star (*) is the star of Bethlehem, and then there are three crosses.
And the free strips of paper was from the computer science department. You never know when you need one..
